Place was ok , staff friendly without being annoying but did not like any of their furniture styles. Everything was glass or gold colored. Not my style or taste on furniture.
I was shopping for a sofa and didn't see many that I would actually want to sit on. They looked nice, but seemed more like decorations than furniture.
Group meeting. Good spread on the buffet.

The name is deceptive. It sounds like it should be some sort of bargain furniture store--it's not.
Don't know what they have or what's available. Completely knowledgeable and dependent on computer for info No negotiations no real value as far as savings go. Won't go back
Additionally, the staff seemed to have less interest in me than I had in their merchandise. The only positive is that the store stays opened later than other furniture stores in the area.
I just started here a month ago. I really believe in the direction the company is going... showing authenticity and integrity in their prices, sales, and the way they treat their customers. As a customer and someone new to the furniture business, I hate it when big ticket sellers hike the prices and then give "sales" for the same amount we would charge every day of the week. Value City seems to be more honest with their low prices and advertisements. The Harrisburg store has really great people to work with too. I highly recommend shopping here. (And I'm not just saying that cause I want to sell you something!
